Ghost Hunting

Hunting Ghosts at Cane Creek Park

I didn't see any ghosts today, but I met a few ghost hunters.

I believe there are all kinds of people hunting ghosts these days. Some want to debunk every story they come across. Some just want to make some easy money off the gullible. Some are just plain coocoo for cocoa puffs and think every story is true. The people I met today sort of blurred some of those lines. They mostly seemed like sensible, down to earth people. The kind who are skeptical but open minded. Here's a little taste of what I saw.

Pat Fitzhugh was signing copies of a couple of his books. You don't have to believe in ghosts to enjoy a good story. Especially one about the most famous ghost in Tennessee (maybe even in America) Maybe ghosts aren't real. But this one scared off even Andrew Jackson.

There was lots of  "interesting" hardware there.  Some looked pretty cool and some looked sort of hokey. It all looked pretty well used though.

The Into the Afterlife Paranormal people hosting the even today seemed to be level headed and were quick to hand out info on how to look at spooky pictures and identify things like dust on the lens and condensation that people sometimes jump to conclusions about. They have day jobs and normal families And I'd say most people would agree that they aren't nut jobs. They, like most of us are just curious. They're new to the area too, so I made sure to tell them about Crazy Georges Bridge. Who knows what they'll find

If you want any contact info or know of any good middle Tennessee ghosts they should be investigating, drop a hint in the comments. And watch out for things that go bump in the night.
